Free. Support group offering colorectal cancer patients as opportunity to actively participate in healing after a cancer diagnosis. This professionally run support group for people with diabetes, their family members and friends will offer education and mutual support. Second Tuesday Every Month Eating Disorder Support Group 6:30  p.m. Community Medical Center Free
Open to persons coping with an eating disorder and their friends and families. This support group provides a safe place for individuals suffering from eating disorders and their families to discuss their experiences and concerns. A psychologist from the Eating Disorders Programs at Monmouth Psychological Associates and an individual recovering from an eating disorder will conduct an open discussion on anorexia and bulimia and the related complications at every meeting.  Call 732-505-KIDS for more information and to register.

  Inflammatory Bowel Disease Support Group 7:00 p.m. Monmouth  Medical Center  
  The only support group in New Jersey for parents of children with IBD cosponsored by Monmouth Medical Center and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) - NJ Chapter. This is a meeting for children with IBD and their parents. Meeting is facilitated by Jonathan E. Teitelbaum, MD, Pediatric Gastroenterologist, Charles D. This program was formed in 1988 as a support group for parents and others concerned with children who had ADD. The acronym, L.A.D.D.E.R., reflects the organization's express purpose of helping these children and their caregivers. Call 732-505-KIDS for more information and to register.
