Dr. Hausdorff is Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesia at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey (CHNJ) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Attending Anesthesiologist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. He joined CHNJ from United Hospital where he was Assistant Director for the Department of Anesthesiology. Previously, he was an Attending Anesthesiologist at University Medical Center, SUNY at Stony Brook.

A graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Hausdorff received his residency training in pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital of Long Island and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He was a fellow for Advanced Clinical Pediatric Anesthesia/Critical Care and a Senior Fellow in the Department of Anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His academic appointments have included Assistant Professor, Department of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at SUNY at Stony Brook, where he received several teaching awards and commendations.

Dr. Hausdorff is an author of research studies and an invited lecturer at area hospitals and professional meetings. He is board certified in pediatrics and anesthesiology.
