Our Cardiac Team
Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Assistant Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology Attending Anesthesiologist Dr. Patankar is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at The Children's Heart Center, Children's Hospital of New Jersey, and Assistant Chairman, Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology at CHNJ. Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatrics, he was previously Staff Anesthesiologist at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. As a Cardiac Anesthesiologist, Dr. Patankar also served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesia and Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He also was Attending Anesthesiologist at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Dr. Patankar completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York, and a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as a Pediatric residency at Schneider Children's Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
