Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, a 671-bed acute
care institution provides comprehensive health care services
to residents of Newark and surrounding communities, and is a
major referral and treatment center for patients throughout the
state. A major teaching affiliate of the Mount Sinai School of
Medicine, New York, Newark Beth Israel hosts junior clerkships
in the core curriculum and senior electives for Mount Sinai as
well as for students from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine,
and St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada.
