Treatment Goals

Serving the greater metropolitan area, we provide comprehensive, compassionate, interdisciplinary, collaborative care to individuals born with cleft lip/palate and craniofacial anomalies. Building on our history of dedication to excellence in care and support, we strive to bring the most advanced comprehensive team approach to the treatment of craniofacial deformities.

• To correct the craniofacial malformation
• To ensure sufficient nutritional intake/counsel regarding feeding techniques for infants
• To facilitate functional speech, swallowing and occlusion. Nasometric analysis is provided as needed.
• To maintain auditory acuity and assist in habilitation if indicated
• To improve aesthetic appearance
• To maintain good physical health including growth and development
• To help each patient establish a positive self-image

In addition, we provide counseling, education, and support services as needed, including communicating with school districts, early intervention programs and child study teams. And last but never least, we help our young patients maintain good physical and emotional health.
