The Cancer Center at Clara Maass features state-of-the-art technology and equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Diagnostic oncology services, in conjunction with Progressive Imaging Center located on the campus of Clara Maass, include stereotactic breast biopsy, closed and open MRI, CT Scan, PET/CT, ultrasonography, and early detection screenings. The ACQSIM, a CT-based simulator that enables physicians to map out precise treatment sites with millimeter accuracy, is in use as well as two linear accelerators and a three-dimensional planning system within the Radiation Oncology Department.
