BELLEVILLE, N.J. August 16, 2007-- Clara Maass Medical Center, founded in 1868 in Newark, NJ, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in Belleville with a 1950's-themed gala on Saturday, September 29, at the Richard J. Codey Arena at South Mountain in West Orange.
The hospital is compiling a souvenir journal for the occasion, and invites members of the public to submit their special memories of Clara Maass Medical Center for possible inclusion in the souvenir journal. Selected stories also will be published on the medical center's web site. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, September 5, 2007.
