TOMS RIVER, NJ, MAY 15, 2008 – The advancement of medical technology combined with the desire to live a long and healthy life means there is a good chance adults will undergo a surgical procedure at some point in their lives. Developments in the field of surgery have helped to improve the quality of life for many people experiencing a variety of different conditions or diseases.
On Tuesday, June 17, general surgeon Jarod Kaufman, MD, will present “Ask the Surgeon” at Community Medical Center’s Lighthouse, 591 Lakehurst Road in Toms River at 5:30 p.m. This open discussion will allow participants to learn about advances in surgery, and ask questions of the doctor about questions or concerns they may have.
