The J. Phillip Citta Cancer Center provides several complementary services.
Pet Therapy
Pet Therapy is provided on all in patient and out- patient Oncology Units. Specially certified “Pet Therapy” dogs visit patients upon request.
Art Therapy
Art Therapy is available on the in patient unit, to provide an expressive outlet to patients if desired.
Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is available to all oncology patients by appointment with a physicians order.
Education & Support

The Center for Women’s Health
The Center for Women’s Health offers T’ai chi classes.
The Center for Kids and Family
The Center for Kids and Family offer lectures on Reiki, Aromatherapy, and other topics of interest.
Oncology Clinical Social Workers
Oncology Clinical Social Workers can offer relaxation training, guided imagery and other forms of stress reduction exercises.
Oncology Resource Center
Partnering with the American Cancer Society of Ocean and Monmouth Counties, the Resource Center offers a full range of booklets, pamphlets, Audio-Visual materials, books, and a “Touch” screen computer for our cancer patients.
