FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is the outpatient parking policy for Pulmonary Rehab? Pulmonary Rehab patients will not have to pay for parking for the time period they attend Pulmonary Rehab. Pulmonary Rehab patients will be given a validated ticket during Pulmonary rehab class. Valet parking is available. Are interpreters available for patients who speak a different language or may be hearing impaired? Community Medical Center utilizes the services of a “language line” which is available 24 hours a day offering interpretive services for all languages. We also have a foreign language directory of CMC employees who can offer translation services. For the hearing impaired we use special equipment called “deaf talk” which enables the healthcare provider to inform the patient about the procedures they will be having. Is there a doctor in the Pulmonary Rehab department? Physicians are available at all times during rehab sessions. Will insurance cover Pulmonary Rehab Program? Medicare will cover a portion of the program for patients who qualify. Patients must check with their private or secondary insurances to verify coverage. Patients should also check with their insurance companies regarding co-pays, pre-authorizations and referrals. [ top ] |
