In-Patient Hospice and Palliative Care

When a patient's symptoms can best be addressed in the acute-care setting, in-patient hospice care may be appropriate. Our specialized In-Patient Hospice Units at Monmouth Medical Center, Community Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center provide care for our patients in Monmouth and adjacent counties. In-patient hospice and palliative care can also be provided in Saint Barnabas system hospitals and in several nursing homes. The requirements for this level of care should be discussed with a Hospice representative.
