The coordinator of Monmouth’s Cleft Palate Center meets with
parents during the first few days after their baby is born, coordinating
each patient’s care and managing treatment by the various
medical disciplines. Parents receive counseling and are provided
with literature and information on their child’s condition
and on networking opportunities with other parents whose children
are being treated for clefts.
The patient is followed through all stages of his or her treatment
for as long as necessary.
All patients are treated, regardless of ability to pay. or
write to the center’s coordinator.
