In the 100 years since Newark Beth Israel Medical Center was founded in 1901, so many lives have been touched by our medical professionals, support staff and volunteers. Physicians, dentists and nurses received their medical training here. Many thousands of people were born at The Beth or had their own children here. Others received treatment for illness or injury, perhaps benefiting from one of the many pioneering medical “firsts” that took place at The Beth. And there have been the volunteers who gave their time and talent to help improve the lives of others.
