Visionaries
in Medicine and Science:
A Series of Symposia Celebrating the Centennial of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
An
exciting series of symposia featuring renowned leaders in medicine and science
will be held throughout 2001 in honor of the Centennial of Newark Beth Israel
Medical Center (NBIMC). “Visionaries in Medicine and Science:
A Series of Symposia Celebrating the Centennial of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center”
includes seven programs, featuring both nationally-recognized and
international experts. Attendees will receive continuing education credits.
"This Series celebrates 100 years of accomplishment in
health care for Newark Beth Israel and the communities it serves, and explores
opportunities for leadership and success as an essential affiliate of the Saint
Barnabas Health Care System,” explains Alan J. Lippman, MD, Chairman of the
Centennial Scientific Symposia Committee. Dr. Lippman is a member of the
Division of Oncology, Department of Medicine, and Past President of the Medical
Staff at NBIMC.
“We are excited to be presenting a year-long program of
such high quality. All of the
various topics highlight areas of particular relevance to us at Newark Beth
Israel, and the Medical and Dental Staff is eagerly looking forward to
experiencing this exciting Series. Of additional interest,” adds Dr. Lippman,
“is the fact that several speakers have a special connection to NBIMC.”
