This Committee was established in 1988 to address ethical issues at the Medical Center. The Committee meets monthly to review cases and to update policies to reflect current ethical trends in our society. Bioethical educational opportunities for Medical Center employees are regularly presented. Upon request by health care professionals, patients and family members, Committee members are available at any time for consultations on ethical issues.
