The Department of Medicine includes numerous specialty divisions, placing the Medical Center in the forefront of the state's teaching hospitals. Specialties include: cardiology; endocrinology; gastroenterology; geriatrics; hematology; metabolic and nutrition services; nephrology; oncology; primary care; pulmonary medicine; and urology.
