Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation gratefully accepts gifts of all sizes to support Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. Your gift may support a particular department, program or initiative. Or you may designate it to the area of greatest need as determined by the Foundation. Write a check or charge a donation on your credit card to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation to use where needed most (unrestricted) or in support of a specific program or service (restricted). All donations are income tax deductible.

APPRECIATED STOCKS, BONDS OR OTHER PROPERTY

Make a gift with appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, an especially attractive and easy option for those who wish to enjoy significant tax savings on assets that have increased in value. Other property may also be used as a gift.

COMMEMORATIVE GIFT

• Make a gift in memory of a loved one.

• Make a gift in honor of a loved one. An honorarium is a wonderful way to acknowledge a friend or loved one who is recovering, commemorate a birthday, an anniversary, or any other occasion.

BORN AT THE BETH

• Join Born at the Beth, a special recognition society for those who were born here.
• Recognize a loved one born here with a special Born at the Beth gift.

MATCHING GIFT

• Ask your company to match your gift with theirs. Matching gifts can double or triple your gift. Both you and your company will be recognized.

ESTATE GIFTS

• Make Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation or Children’s Hospital of New Jersey a beneficiary in your will to provide for their futures. Sample language for a will is as follows:

I give to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Foundation, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, a tax-exempt corporation, the sum of ___________ dollars ($) [or ____% of the residue] to be used where the need is greatest at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center or Children’s Hospital of New Jersey.

LIFE INCOME GIFTS

Make a lifetime gift such as a Charitable Gift Annuity, a Charitable Remainder or Charitable Lead Trust and both you, your spouse or someone you designate can receive income during your lifetime and/or after your death. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center or Children’s Hospital of New Jersey will also benefit from your generosity.
