Clara Maass Continuing Care Center at West Hudson,
an affiliate of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System located at
206 Bergen Avenue in Kearny, recently celebrated an expansion with
the addition of 52 beds on a newly renovated fourth floor unit.
“The addition of the fourth floor allows us
to further meet the needs of area residents by extending the continuum
of care offered by the Saint Barnabas Health Care System,” says
Tracey Borges, LNHA, Administrator. “In addition to long-term,
skilled nursing care we also offer a variety of short-term rehabilitation
services including joint replacement recovery and post-acute cardiac
care.”
The new unit features a wide-range of amenities including
a private rehabilitation gym overlooking the New York City skyline,
hand painted wall murals, personalized shadow boxes outside each
resident and patient room, and the availability of 8 private rooms.
