The 22-bed Ventilator Unit at Kensington Manor is staffed with clinicians
who are experts in the field of ventilator dependence.
Aggressive weaning techniques, a dedicated recreation
team, and a commitment to the physical, social,
and emotional well-being of the Unit's patients
ensure that each individual is able to live life
to the fullest.

An
interdisciplinary approach to care combines the
expertise of the Unit's Medical Director, Pulmonologist,
Director of Social Services, Respiratory Care Director,
Unit Nursing Manager, Registered Dietician, and
Unit Activities Coordinator – all of whom work together to provide
the highest quality of life for residents.
