Both evening and day groups are offered, and led by a certified grief counselor. Women are given current, accurate information in an emotionally supportive environment. Breastfeeding Support Group (973) 322-5360 A free breastfeeding support group meets weekly following the New Moms’ Circle from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The workshop helps you achieve the confidence and skills you need for a satisfying nursing experience and addresses topics such as proper latch-on and positioning and maintaining your milk supply. This group meets at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center at 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston. Newborns in car seats or strollers are welcome. This group provides individuals with an opportunity to participate in group discussions related to the treatment of everyday obstacles associated with lymphedema. New Mom's Circle (973) 322-5360 Saint Barnabas Medical Center offers a free, six-week support group that is led by a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in post partum adjustment. The group meets on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), 200 South Orange Avenue in Livingston, across from the Livingston Mall. Topics include transitioning to parenthood, mood changes, baby blues vs. postpartum depression and myths of motherhood. A breastfeeding support group immediately follows.
